So, Clint Eastwood's son Scott wasn't the new Christian Grey, after all. But film producers have apparently landed an even hotter star for the lead role in the film adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey - Jamie Dornan, reports Variety.
The SUPER-hot model, and former flame of Keira Knightley, hails from Northern Ireland and is sizzling property right now, starring as Sheriff Graham Humber in the ABC series Once Upon A Time, and a serial killer in BBC Two drama The Fall.
Before acting, the 31-year-old was a top model (surprise!), starring in campaigns for Calvin Klein, Armani and Christian Dior.
He is the second choice for the role, after first choice Charlie Hunnam signed up but dropped out after a month.
Scheduling differences were cited as the reason, but some reports suggest Charlie just didn't want the pressure, fame and stereotyping the high-profile role may bring,
According to the Daily Mail, a source said: "What he was taking on with this role was not what Charlie wants in his future career. The attention and the pressure was intense.'
"More than anything, he hates attention, and being in Fifty Shades Of Grey would force him to do lots of media.
"That's really not his thing. Charlie doesn't want to be massively famous."
Boo. But now there's Jamie. Yay!
