Monday night saw fashion's finest descend upon New York city for the most stylish event in the calendar, the Met Gala! While everyone was sure to keep to the "beyond fashion" dress code, some hit the nail right on the sartorial head, while other fell a little short.
Sure heads were turning, but not necessarily for the right reasons. We're looking at you Kate Upton!
The annual event saw Sarah Jessica Parker indulge in her very own Carrie Bradshaw moment in a black and ivory Oscar de la Renta gown complete with over-the-elbow satin gloves, Rita Ora almost flash her pants in a Donna Karan Atelier frock, and a streaker tackled to the ground by security guards just meters from the red carpet. It was an eventful night, to say the least.
While Beyonce topped our very best dressed list her younger sister Solange fell a little flat in a shiny tangerine Phillip Lim dress. The singer also decided to ditch her signature 'fro and opted for a choppy pixie cut. We hardly even recognised her.
