Giorgio Armani presented a collection of column gowns, luxe lime and grey palettes and tailored two-pieces in his Autumn/Winter 2014 show on the final day of Milan Fashion Week.

It was almost as if Mr Armani knew the Oscars were on the horizon. These dresses were strapless, one-shouldered, plunging, floaty and adorned with beautiful embellishment. Perfect for dazzling any red carpet scene.

As well as elegant gowns, sequin column skirts and silk jumpsuits there were crisp, classic suits.

Armani's ability to dress women immaculately with sleek, straight lines and striking silhouettes was reinforced with beautiful blazers, tailored trousers and collarless coats.
