Miley Cyrus Dances Up Against Giant Statue Of Dead Dog On Bangerz Tour

Following the sad passing of Miley Cyrus' dog this week, she has paid an unusual tribute on her Bangerz tour.

During her performance at the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, the 21-year-old singer had a 100-foot high inflatable in likeness to her two-year-old Alaskan Kai Klee, Floyd, rolled out onto the stage.

While singing her song 'Can't Be Tamed' she struggled to contain her tears as she stroked the statue and rubbed up against it in her black stage outfit of bralet, long gloves and stripey fur chaps.

The performance follows a series of devastated tweets from the former Disney star since her dog was reportedly killed by a coyote on Tuesday.

On friday night she revealed she wasn't sure if she was ready to love another dog after receiving a puppy from her mum Tish, tweeting: "So torn. I love having little Moonie cuddle w me and Mary Jane but just don't know if I'm ready to love again," [sic]

Earlier in the week she also broke down during a performance in Boston while singing a cover of Fleetwood Mac's 'Landslide' to her dog, saying "I just wanted to do this song for him because we used to always listen to Fleetwood Mac together and this was his favourite song." After proving inconsolable, she had to have her 14-year-old sister Noah rush on stage to comfort her.

Poor Miley. Our hearts go out to her for her loss, though we're stumped by her unusual choice of tribute. Check out more of the shocking events from her Bangerz tour in the gallery below.
