Morwenna Lytton Cobbold's Models &Amp; Mothers Private View

Morwenna Lytton Cobbold - not just a Burberry model. Oh no no - this red-haired girl has been working on a collection of photographs for the past two years and last night was the grand unveiling. Hurrah!

Her Models & Mothers exhibition - in aid of Breakthrough Breast Cancer - opened at The Gilbert Scott with a liberal dousing of pink Piper- Heidseck champagne and yummy Dorset crab canapés.

In between catching up with friends Amber Atherton, Portia Freeman and Greta Bellamacina - who all posed with their mums for the project - Morwenna revealed how the exhibition came about.

"It started as part of my final coursework for London College of Fashion and then the opportunity to work with Breakthrough Breast Cancer came up," she said. "I'm so pleased to be able to help to support the charity."

And she's not the only one who's happy with how it turned out - her friends are super impressed too.

"I didn't realise how brilliant she is!" said poet Greta, taking a rare night off ahead of the release of her next book An Ode To She. "That's part of what I've loved about this. She made us feel so at ease and the pictures are very personal, it's a lovely thing to be part of."

After more bubbles - no one cared a jot that it was Monday - everyone knocked back The Gilbert Scott Meadow Sweet Cocktails (ridiculously moreish) and Morwenna's boyfriend Phil Bush played auctioneer for a list of prizes, raising hundreds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

And just like that the party was over. Well, officially. Really, it just moved on to the bar next door...

Models & Mothers: An Exhibition will be on display at The Gilbert Scott until October 31.
