My Big Day: Louise And Brian's Beach Wedding In Kent

When it comes to breathtaking wedding locales, it doesn't get more gorgeous than Botany Bay Beach in Kent, with its stunning backdrop of white cliffs, chalk stacks, soft sand and blue waters, where Louise and Brian tied the knot (and guests went for a dip after the ceremony!)

The setting reminded Louise of the many summer holidays she and her family would take by the seafront.

According to Louise, all of the little details for the couple's big day came together thanks to friends and family, who helped out with everything from bridal make-up (done by Louise's cousin) to table décor DIY (which continued the beach-side theme with tiny deck chair adornments at each table setting, made out of lollipop and kebab sticks).

Photographed by London wedding photographer Kristian Leven, Louise and Brian's big day didn't bring any surprises when it came to the unpredictable English weather, although some unexpected guests did arrive: Louise's mum and sister, whom the bride hadn't seen in two-and-a-half years and who live in Zimbabwe. They weren't going to be able to make the ceremony originally but managed to fly in at the last minute.

"On the morning of the wedding, they surprised me by travelling all the way over from Zimbabwe and landing only two hours before the wedding! It was one of the most special moments of my life," Louise says.
