He spent hours waiting for the new arrival with dad-to-be Greg, who got married four months ago.
Niall was Greg's best man and found out he was going to be an uncle at the wedding.
Beside the picture of him holding the baby, Niall Tweeted to his 12 million followers: "Congrats Greg and Denise! Wohoooo! I've got a nephew! Cutest kid ever!"
One Direction fans claim the boy has been named after the Greek god Zeus, but Greg insist they still hadn't decided what to call him.
