Sadly, there is absolutely no evidence to suggest Posh indulged in any of the fine British chip shop institutions like pickled eggs and pea fritters herself on her visit though - the singer-turned-fashion-doyenne was merely picking up an after-school treat for young son Cruz.
Obviously, she didn't let her sartorial standards slip even in the face of a less than salubrious takeaway, sporting Louboutin boots and, according to the Mail, a £1500 bag from her own range.
Cruz meanwhile, looked every inch the footballer's son in a slightly muddy school tracksuit as they called into the takeaway in trendy Notting Hill.
And before we get too carried away thinking 'aw, they ARE just a normal family after all' there was a burly bodyguard present throughout...
