Prince William Has The Music Taste Of A 15-Year-Old Girl

The Duke of Cambridge, Prince William, confessed to having the same taste in music as a 15-year-old girl while visiting a school in Yorkshire on Wednesday.

Turns out the royal is a a little bit rock and roll and revealed to pupils that he's a big fan of Coldplay and American band - famed for their 2003 hit 'Numb' - Linkin Park.

Wills was paying a visit to Goole High School in East Yorkshire to launch a new award for primary school children as part of his duties as royal patron of the charity SkillForce. He later admitted his slightly embarrassing penchant for whiny rock.

While he spent some of the time apologising for the miserable downpours, saying: "I'm so sorry I didn't bring better weather with me," William also took questions from the students.

Chatting about music, Wills said: "I used to play the piano, trumpet and drums when I was your age but I couldn't read music. There's only so much you can remember from the top of your head."

And when asked which recording artists he liked to listen to the duke confessed he's a big fan of Coldplay and Linkin Park AKA the soundtrack to Team MyDaily's teenage years.

Not only is his taste in music oh-so relatable, but the prince also proved he likes to chow down on everyday normal person food.

Inspecting a packet of Morrisons Value instant mac and cheese, which he somehow got his hands on, he asked the children whether they'd tasted it and hinted he'd sampled it for himself.

"Have you tried this before?" he questioned. "It's OK, it's not too bad. It's better than the beef stew and dumplings which is quite a heavy one."

#MindBlown.
