Princess Eugenie Is Chic In Monochrome At Laduree Luncheon With Faberge In New York

Princess Eugenie upped her style game in a chic monochrome number for the Laduree Luncheon with Faberge at the newly opened SoHo tea salon in New York on Wednesday.

The young royal was stylish in a knee-length tea dress worn under a simple cropped black knitted sweater. She teamed it with a structured (and very fashion-y) black jacket, made good with leather sleeve detailing.

Eugenie accessorised with buckled ankle boots, a monochrome cross-body bag and minimal jewellery. In fact, the princess didn't look out of place as she rubbed shoulders with Turkish Vogue veteran Mary Fellowes and other members of the fash pack.

Just think, if she'd taken her arms out of her jacket sleeves and draped it over her shoulders all fashion like, you probably wouldn't have been able to pick her out of a line up.

Eugenie, who currently interns at auction house Paddle8, has undergone a serious sartorial transformation since moving Stateside and has been spotted out and about in the Big Apple looking like an extra from Sex And The City.

Her appearance at the newly opened tearoom just days after returning from England, where she to opened the new Children's High Dependency Unit at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.

"The arrival of Princess Eugenie caused lots of excitement in the unit," said hospital matron Betty Wynne.

"The impact the princess' visit has had today really has lifted the children's spirits and we're so grateful for her continued support."

It is a cause close to Eugenie's heart, after she recently revealed she underwent complicated surgery on her spine when she was just 12-years-old and spent time recuperating in intensive care.
