When Rihanna revealed the ad campaign for her latest Mac Viva Glam lipstick, we had an inkling it would come in a classic red shade. (Her glossy rouged pout was a bit of a giveaway.)
The good news? This creamy new lip colour is up there with Mac's best-sellers Ruby Woo and Russian Red. If you're prone to reaching for a lipstick every time you need to tackle something important, this is the kind of colour you'll want to wear.
Ok, the name isn't quite as catchy - it's called er, Frosty Blue-Red - but red lipstick lovers might want to add it to their collection.
The proceeds are for a good cause too. The full amount (less the VAT) of each Viva Glam Lipstick and Lipglasss sold will go towards helping men, women and children affected by HIV and Aids.
Both products are available online at Mac Cosmetics from 6 February and will be launched in stores from February 13. A brilliant new lipstick for a brilliant cause? It would be silly not to.
