Sheridan Smith Gets A 1960s Makeover (And Looks Like A Young Cilla Black)

When you think of 1960s style, Twiggy or Brigitte Bardot might spring to mind. But Cilla Black? Er, probably not.

Sheridan Smith, however, has been embracing the Blind Date star's style to film new TV drama Cilla. (That explains why Smith dyed her hair red a few weeks ago.)

The three-part ITV show follows the life of a young Black in 1960s Liverpool which means Sheridan has been given the chance to have a lot of fun in the wardrobe department.

We haven't seen a blue briefcase like that, er, ever.

So far it looks like Sheridan's costumes are mostly tweed and check print. However, that curly auburn bob? It looks surprisingly good on the blonde actress. Maybe the new hair colour is a keeper?
