Let's talk about Dakota Fanning - probably the most grounded child-to-adult star who has ever existed. There have been no public breakdowns, uneasy transitional period or try-hard moments. With Dakota everything is simple, fresh and seamless.
That's not to say she's boring, Dakota the type of girl's girl you'd want to be best friends forever with except you can't because Kristen Stewart's already bagged that spot.
She loves Beyonce, the red contact lenses she got to wear in Twilight and knitting (she's really good too - so good, Tom Cruise and Robert De Niro have custom made Dakota scarves). She's also fluent in French and can play the violin.
On top of all of this, Dakota can dress like you wouldn't believe. Everything is feminine and beautiful but never overdone. Note the absence of big blow-dries and full make-up - somehow Dakota manages to look completely nonchalant in huge tulle gowns.
