'The Eat Air Diet': Tori Spelling Admits To Lying About Baby Weight Loss Regime

Tori Spelling has admitted that she wasn't entirely honest about how she shed her baby weight following the birth of her fourth child in August last year.

"I was on the 'keep your f***ing mouth shut and eat air diet',"Tori is now saying, despite claiming at the time her svelte body was all down to swimming.

The Daily Mail reports that Tori comes clean in her new book, Spelling It Like It Is, where she now says that far from banishing the baby bulge with endless lengths of the pool, she actually couldn't exercise at all.

"For several months, I couldn't really exercise," she writes. "There were a couple reasons. First, there was some risk that my scar would open up again. I was terrified of that. Second, I really don't exercise much, period. So I took my weight the old-fashioned way. I like to call it the Just Keep Your F***ing Mouth Shut and Eat Air diet. It's all the rage."

Tori made her original claims when she did a bikini shoot with US Weekly magazine shortly after the birth of baby Finn. She said then that her doctor suggested she try swimming as it was good for the whole body and low-impact.

She claimed she would 'swim until I'm sore' and 'exercise three times a week for about an hour each time.'

However, the reality was a strict diet that involved 'nibbling rice cakes' and 'eating soup and dinners that looked like they belonged in some health magazine'.

"With my sedentary lifestyle, it was the only way and it worked," she says. "My clothes were starting to fit again."

Tori, 40, has four children with husband Dean McDermott: Finn, Hattie, Stella and Liam.

Well at least she's being honest now!
