"When I was in middle school, everyone 'joked' about making out with pillows for practice," Emily wrote on her Instructables listing.
"I'm assuming that I was not the only one for whom the jokes had some truth. Let's just all admit that we all practice made-out with our pillows and we looked really silly doing it. Those poor pillows."
While we reckon Emily is making a rather wild assumption here, we can't help but thing you'd look a hell of a lot weirder making out with a pillow that actually has a mouth!
The pillow, created just in time for the most romantic day of the year, is made of, er, a pillow and the disembodied mouths of crash test dummies which Emily found in a bin. WTF?
"I have to admit that when I mentioned this idea to my friends, the reaction... tended to be variations on 'that's really creepy'," wrote Emily.
"I thought it was pretty hilarious myself until I actually made the things. They are super creepy. But I sort of love them for that."
