His performances in She's All That, I Know What You Did Last Summer and Head Over Heels easily made him your favourite actor and his slightly geeky yet undeniably handsome face made him the perfect candidate for your future husband.
However, as the Nougties rolled in FPJ slipped off the map and we've got to thinking, where has he been since he played Ross and Rachel's "manny" in Friends?
1. He's been married for over a decade
We all knew the Nineties teen movie power pair Freddie and Sarah Michelle Gellar - who got hitched in 2002 - would last the long haul. The couple who makes Scooby Doo together, stays together (or something catchier that rhymes)
2. He's a dad
Freddie and Sarah Michelle (who, FYI, changed her name to Sarah Michelle Prinze in 2007 as an anniversary gift to Fred) have two children together; Charlotte Grace, born on 19 September 2009 and a son, Rocky James, also born on September 19 but three years later. Freaky.
3. He's into wrestling
We guess Freddie really cared about what The Rock was cooking and totally dug Hulk Hogan's bandanna because these days he's a producer and director for the WWE.
4. He's still acting... Sometimes
In 2010 he starred alongside Kiefer Sutherland int he television cop series 24 and was in two episodes of American show Witches Of East End in 2013.
