Whatever Happened To... The Stars Of The Big Reunion 2

The Big Reunion is back and this time Eternal, Damage, A1 and Adam Rickitt will be taking centre stage as they attempt to make the ultimate comeback performance.

But what have they been up to since they vanished from the limelight? We find out...

1. Eternal, 1992 - 2000

Sisters Easther and Vernie Bennett, Kelle Bryan and Louise Redknapp released their debut studio album Always & Forever in the early 1990s. However, things weren't to be, er, eternal. Just three years later Louise left the band to pursue a solo career. After hits like 'Naked', she got hitched to footballer Jamie Redknapp, presented SMTV Live and CD:UK among other TV shows, and gave birth to two boys.

Meanwhile, in 1998, Kelle Bryan was sacked from the group by the other two members because of "a breakdown in professional relations". Easther went on to write songs for Girls Aloud, Kelle appeared in the BBC sitcom series Me & Mrs Jones with Neil Morrisey and Vernie stepped out of the spotlight to back to school and study law.

2. A1, 1998 - 2003

Although we hardly remember A1, the English/Norwegian band achieved success in the UK, South East Asia and Japan in the late 1990s and early 2000s. In 2002, band member Paul Marazzi left the band citing personal reasons. The three remaining members, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Mark Read and Ben Adams, decided to call it quits the following year due to total exhaustion after being on the road for the best part of five years.

Then in 2008, Christian, Mark and Ben returned with a bang! Well, sort of. They formed a MySpace account to keep fans updated of their current situation and performed a string of gigs in Oslo.

3. Damage, 1996 - 2001

Little is known about why Rahsaan J Bromfield, Andrez Harriott, Jade Jones and Noel Simpson aka RnB band Damage split in the early Noughties... On top of this, not much can be said about when they've been up to lately. However, in a recent interview with Digital Spy Jade Jones confessed we'd all be finding out what really went down on The Big Reunion. He said it was "quite frightening" to tell the truth about the band's highs and lows, adding some of them didn't speak for seven years.

4. Girl Thing, 1999 - 2001

Jodi Albert, Anika Bostelaar, Linzi Martin, Michelle Barber and Nikki Stuart enjoyed short-term success in the band Girl Thing in the late 1990s. When their debut album was pulled from UK release, the band's days were numbered. After calling it a day Jodi found fame on Hollyoaks and ended up marrying Westlife's Kian Egan in 2009.

Random fact: the band recorded the track 'Pure and Simple' before ITV's Popstars winners Hear'Say.

5. 5th Story, 2014

Dane Bowers, Adam Rickitt, Kavana, Kenzie and Gareth Gates have teamed up to make manband 5th Story especially for The Big Reunion. We predict it's going to be mega awks. Back in the late 1990s, Kavana sacked his record label after they took on then Coronation Street actor Adam, leaving the soap star racked with guilt for "ruining his career".

It seems like a lifetime ago we were screaming Gareth Gate's name during a Pop Idol tour concert at Wembley Arena. Since then he got hitched, had kids, split from his wife, appeared on All Star Family Fortunes and made his theatrical debut.

And Dane Bowers, well he's been hanging round in the background for as long as we can remember. He appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in 2010, then allegedly got arrested and charged with two counts of assault by beating after a confrontation at a Butlins holiday resort.
