It's hardly surprising that looking good is a priority for women, but this latest news might come as a shock.
A recent survey by Today/AOL has found women spend 335 hours on their hair and makeup. That's TWO WEEKS a year or just under one hour per day devoted to appearance.
Huffington Post Style reports the survey, conducted in the US, asked 2,000 women plus 200 teenage girls over the age of 16 how much time they spend on grooming. And yes, the results were alarming.
However, other issues around body image were also prevalent in this study.
67 of men regularly worry about their appearance.
So - we're spending too much time obsessing over beauty and even more time worrying about it. Time to change?
