Zara Phillips Back Horse Riding &Amp; Competing At Meets Just Three Months After Baby Mia's Birth

Just 12 weeks after giving birth to daughter Mia, the Queen's granddaughter Zara Phillips was back in the saddle and competing at horse riding meets.

While all eyes have been glued to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, looking fabulous on her Royal Tour of New Zealand and Australia with Prince William eight months after welcoming baby George this royal has been riding in the Symm International Horse Trials in Hambledon.

And there we were thinking K-Middy was the only one tearing up the royal handbook. During her pregnancy Zara caused controversy, riding until she was over four months pregnant.

At the time a spokeswoman for the 32-year-old royal said: "She is being sensible about this and is listening to what doctors are telling her. She would never put her pregnancy in jeopardy."

Tamsin Kelly, editor of Parentdish, told MyDaily, "Zara is pregnant, not ill. She looks the picture of energy, health and happiness.

"She is an Olympic winning sportswoman, who is used to being active and will know what she her body is capable of doing comfortably and when she may need to take things easier. Her own mother Princess Anne continued riding up to six weeks before Zara's birth."

After taking pregnancy in her no-nonsense stride it's no surprise to see Zara back in the saddle with no sign of a sleepless night on her face or a sick rag on her shoulder.
