Half Life 3 is still a huge deal, even though there is literally no news to report on its eventual existence, or not.
That doesn't stop the hype building.
So could the game ever live up to that hype? Is it just setting everyone up for a fall, tempting us with the promise of a good-looking, sensibly plotted FPS before yanking it away because, let's face it, making a game that could live up to the hype is insanely difficult?
