Victoria Beckham Does The Ice Bucket Challenge

After David Beckham and her son Brooklyn accepted the ice bucket challenge, it was only a matter of time before Victoria Beckham took it on herself.

The 40-year-old fashion designer was nominated by Eva Longoria to support the Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) Association.

Who did she rope in to do the honours of pouring the water? Her husband David joined her three sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz in the garden of their Los Angeles home to tip two giant water buckets over Victoria's head. It's handy having four boys on standby...

Victoria, who was dressed in her gym kit after a spinning session at LA's SoulCycle, then nominated two celebrity friends - Tom Ford and Katie Holmes - plus her 9-year-old son Cruz to join in.

Cruz's video quickly appeared soon after and yes, it's adorable (plus he nominated Wayne Rooney.)

The Beckhams are just a few of the celebrities to take on the challenge so far. Jennifer Lopez, Cara Delevingne and even the ice queen of fashion Anna Wintour have all got soaked for charity.

No surprise then that this year's ice bucket campaign is more successful than ever before. On Sunday the ALS Association announced today that it has received $13.3 million (£7.9 million) in donations from over 250,000 people compared to $1.7 million (£1.1 million) during the same three week period last year (July 29 to August 17).
