'Strictly' Vs. 'X Factor' - Which One Will You Be Watching?

‘Strictly Come Dancing’ will clash with ‘X Factor’ when it returns to TV screens in September, it has been revealed.

BBC bosses confirmed that the show will be back on Sunday 7 September at 8pm, meaning it will go head-to-head with ITV’s ‘X Factor’.

‘X Factor’ returns two weeks ahead of the dance show, with the first show on 30 August, followed by another on the following night.

A number of stars have been confirmed for this year’s ‘Strictly’, including Pixie Lott and Frankie Sandford.

Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills will also be getting his dance shoes on, along with Judy Murray, Thom Evans, Jake Wood and TV presenter Steve Backshall.

This year's 'Strictly' will be the first series without Bruce Forsyth, who announced his retirement from the show earlier this year. He's been replace by Claudia Winkleman.

On Thursday morning, Caroline Flack was confirmed for the show, after the new ‘Xtra Factor’ presenter Sarah-Jane Crawford accidentally revealed the news on Twitter.

The official ‘X Factor’ 2014 launch took place on Wednesday night, where the judges gave their thoughts on Tulisa’s upcoming return to the show.
