Uma Thurman hit all the right style notes as she made her red carpet debut at the 71st Venice International Film Festival yesterday, stepping out at the Chopard And Vanity Fair Present 'Backstage At Cinecitta' Exhibition at the Cipriani Hotel.
The Hollywood star was all glamour in a chiffon pleated halterneck top teamed with an of-the-moment matching pleated chiffon midi skirt from Jenny Packham which she paired with strappy metallic silver sandals. Uma even matched her nail polish to the two piece look - sheer genius.
The stunner also added plenty of sparkle to her ensemble - it was a Chopard event, after all - accessorizing with a diamond tennis bracelet, an elaborate diamond and ruby necklace, diamond solitaire stud earrings and a simple silver band on her ring finger.
The star has been photographed in Venice this week with her three children, Maya, Levon and Rosaline (aka Luna), taking in the city's famed sights on a water-boat ride on the canals and enjoying some ice lollies in the summer heat.
The family is in town to support Uma's ex-husband, Ethan Hawke: his film, Good Kill, is nominated for the festival's top Golden Lion prize and he also stars in Cymbeline, set to premiere at the film festival.
Our final verdict on Uma's film festival look? We'll have what she's having.
