Pregnant Holly Willoughby has returned to This Morning following her summer break.

Holly is due to give birth to her third child in October. She was back on TV today (Monday, September 1), and will be presenting This Morning for a month before her maternity leave starts.

Holly and co-host Phillip Schofield always take the summer off from their daily presenting duties, and this year was no different for the mum-to-be, despite her maternity leave starting so soon after she returns from her traditional summer break.

Heavily pregnant Holly was thrilled to be back on the sofa, tweeting the night before the show:

The 33-year-old presenter wore a navy floral frock for her autumn presenting debut. The maternity dress stopped just below the knee, and Holly teamed it with dark heels (good job she was sitting down for most of the show!).

Holly and husband Dan Baldwin are already proud parents to Harry, five, and Belle, three. Holly hasn't found out the sex of baby number three, saying she would rather have a surprise.

Speaking in June, Holly said: "I really have no idea. It's weird with your third. Having had one of each and both pregnancies having been pretty much the same, hand on heart, I really don't mind if I have a boy or girl.

"I'm lucky to have one of each, anyway. They're both wonderful. What will be will be.''

Amanda Holden and Christine Bleakley are due to share Holly's maternity leave when she heads off for baby number three, and it seems Amanda is only too keen to learn the ropes.

According to a source close to the show, Amanda will be shadowing Holly over her last few weeks.

The source told the Mirror: "Amanda has agreed to come in for a few days each week even though she is not on screen.

"She will be watching from the wings to learn the ropes, get a feel of the show as Phil and Holly present the new series. She'll also be here getting to know the crew and daytime bosses."
