Yashika Bageerathi, the student deported to Mauritius despite a 175,000-strong protest, has passed her exams and achieved the results she would have needed to apply for university.
The 19-year-old was sent home weeks before sitting her exams despite a petition to the Home Office asking for her to be allowed to stay.
Bageerathi arrived in the UK in 2011 with her mother and two younger siblings after fleeing her home country from an abusive relative.

The Home Office considered her case separately due to her age and concluded she was not in need of protection.
The student's school, Oasis Academy in Hadley, London, organised a protest in Parliament Square but Bageerathi was deported in April.
"The last six months of my life have been more turbulent and surreal than I ever expected," she said, according to the BBC.
"In this episode I believe I have seen the best and worst that humanity has to offer."
Bageerathi added it was a "privilege" to sit British exams.
