Alex Song Shows Off Outrageous Skills As West Ham U-21s Beat Ipswich (Vine)

On Song: New West Ham Man Shows Off Outrageous Skills

Barcelona bizarrely thought they were getting a defensive player in Alex Song when they signed him two years ago but, as he re-emphasised for West Ham's Under-21s, he's actually a handy attacker.

In his last season at Arsenal Song provided the passes for Robin van Persie to memorably volley past Tim Howard and Pepe Reina - two of the outstanding goals of that Premier League season - and the Cameroonian showcased his flair at Upton Park on Thursday night.

Song could make his debut at Hull next week

Song and Ravel Morrison combined superbly to gift Diafra Sakho a tap-in against Ipswich. Song flicked the ball to Morrison, who returned it immediately, and the former Gunner then provided a rabona for the ex-Manchester United man to run onto and assist Sakho.

The credit goes to Sam Allardyce.
