As always, the hair looks on the catwalk were stunning, but there are three key looks to know:

1. Braids

If you like plaits, you're in luck next spring. Braids were the biggest hair trend in New York - just more confirmation the look isn't going anywhere anytime soon. The only difference for the season ahead? This style is all about practicality. Look to the Suno, Peter Som shows and the DKNY catwalk, where models were seen wearing long, centre-parted pigtails, for inspiration.

2. Bouncy curls

At Diane Von Furstenberg and Jenny Packham's shows, beautifully glossy, lightly curled styles brought a touch of Upper East side glamour to the catwalk. Get your bristle brushes and hair dryers at the ready to achieve this bouncy finish.

3. Normcore styles

There's no need to do anything dramatic or statement-making with your hair next spring (save that for your eyebrows.) From the side-swept down dos at Victoria Beckham's show to the slicked-back ponytails seen on the Alexander Wang runway, laid-back, wearable styles are in. Hurrah!
