When it comes to catwalk beauty trends we'll all want to to copy, the hair and make up at the Burberry Prorsum show delivers every season.
The Spring/Summer 2015 show, entitled 'The Birds and The Bees,' was no different. Burberry Make-up Artistic Consultant Wendy Rowe worked with the brand's CEO Christopher Bailey to create a look focused on flawless skin, tawny eyes and a rich red lip.
How did Rowe do it? Follow this guide:
Dewy, honey-toned skin was the first step to this look. Wendy applied Burberry's Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base in Golden Radiance No.02 to the face, ears and décolletage for an "iridescent glow," followed by the Fresh Glow B.B Cream.
Burberry's Fresh Glow Foundation and Sheer Concealer were also added where needed to reduce redness and even out the complexion.
Nude tones were blended into the sockets and swept under the lower lash line to create this subtle, lived-in look. Lashes were kept bare and brows were left to look natural.
Love that red lip seen on the beautiful Jourdan Dunn? Note Wendy's top tip - she accentuated the shape of the mouth by applying Fresh Glow Foundation before adding Burberry's Lip Cover in Ruby No.18.
The brand revealed six new nail colours for the show: Hydrangea Pink No.402, Bright Coral Red No.414, Pink Azalea No.223, Stone Blue No.431, Aqua Green No.418 and Imperial Blue No.429. These will be sold in two three-piece collections and good news! They are already available for a limited period at Burberry.com. (The complete spring beauty collection lands in stores in January 2015.)
