The Fashion EastSpring/Summer 2015 catwalk, sponsored by Topshop, showcased collections by designers Helen Lawrence, Louise Alsop and Ed Marler.
As a non-profit initiative set up to support emerging British talent, Fashion East is a hot ticket to bag during London Fashion Week.
Helen Lawrence, a Central Saint Martins graduate, sent her models down the runway in lightweight knitted two-pieces (crops and mini skirts), slip-on sandals and layered neutral separates.
The dusty pink, lemon yellow, green and navy colourways enhanced the texture play (gauze, cotton, wool and vinyl), it was casual-cool and spot on for girls up for revealing a lot of skin.
University of Westminster graduate, Louise Alsop presented a line of cut-out shift dresses, oversized t-shirt dresses splattered with paint and scribbles, and frayed/tasseled ensembles.
Sheer is a huge Spring/Summer 2015 trend and Alsop has got it down to a tee. Her girls are edgy with it too - twisted, dread-effect down 'dos and white trainers.
Ed Marler made his London Fashion Week debut with his S/S 2015 collection and the Central Saint Martins graduate went all out with a regal pirate/vampire inspired collection.
Think OTT jewel embellished headbands, fishnet stockings and stilettos, sequin union jack trousers, cut-out mullet jackets (all drama!), chokers, brocades and slinky negligees.
What a way to make a debut.
