London Fashion Week: Tom Ford Spring/Summer 2015

16/09/2014 12:05 | Updated 20 May 2015

Tom Ford's Spring/Summer 2015 catwalk was all about grungy glamour. His models were stacked high in platform heels, in plunging mini dresses, huge flares and barely-there skirts.

Next season is about getting those perfect pins out. Hold ups are back in a big way and they couldn't be sexier.

The smudgy, smoky eyes and plumped-up lips (by make up artist Charlotte Tilbury) maxed up the whole "modern, expensive, rock chic girl" vibe which was inspired by American musician Chrissie Hynde.

The colourways? Lots of black (sheer chiffons and appliqué detailing), white and gold/silver metallic. Bead and sequin embellishment were also worked across the collection - just to make things that bit more risqué.

When his fleet of elfin-rock-chic models weren't swaggering out in really short dresses (tunic, long-sleeved, cut-out), said flares or skirts with thigh-high splits they were in floor-length gowns. With satin or sequin bra cups.

Ford's inspiration - aside from his own designer experience at Gucci - came from photographs of Italian architect and designer Carlo Mollino.
