John Malkovich Iconic Photo Recreations By Sandro Miller Are Simply Incredible

John Malkovich Is Incredible And Here's Why

If you needed any further proof that John Malkovich is a total legend then here it is.

That's right, collaborating with American photographer Sandro Miller, he's recreated a number of iconic photos from throughout history. And they're superb.

The series is called "Malkovich, Malkovich, Malkovich: Homage to Photographic Masters" and is a glorious example of acting meets photo editing.

Miller is well known for his work in the advertising world but wanted to pay homage to the great photographers who have inspired him since he took an interest in the profession aged 16.

By all accounts Malkovich was eager to sign up to the project.

Miller said: "John is the most brilliant, prolific person I know. His genius is unparalleled.

"I can suggest a mood or an idea and within moments, he literally morphs into the character right in front of my eyes.

"He is so trusting of my work and our process… I’m truly blessed to have him as my friend and collaborator."

The full series will debut at Chicago's Catherine Edelman Gallery on Nov. 7 and runs through until January 31, 2015. Several special releases are planned for the project, too: cultural review magazine 7-Post will publish an exclusive interview with Malkovich on the series in its on October 3 issue, and the French newspaper Liberation will also run an interview on the project.
