Caroline Wozniacki has never won a major in her career but the Dane has amassed $18,381,205 worth of prize money, which might explain why she forgot to collect her $1.45m cheque from US Open officials.
Wozniacki, beaten in the final by Serena Williams earlier this month, realised 30 minutes after leaving Queens that she hadn't claimed her prize money and was driven back to Flushing Meadows to pick up the cheque.
