One Direction’s Liam Payne has been slammed by fans after posing with a gun during a trip to the US.
The singer appears in a snap with the cast of the reality TV show ‘Duck Dynasty’, which shows Liam and the Robertson family holding firearms.
According to The Mirror, Liam spent a day with the family during a recent trip to the US, where he joined them for clay pigeon shooting.
Now, a number of Directioners have taken to Twitter to share their views, with many criticising Liam’s decision to pose for the controversial pic.
“It's not funny to hold a gun, bc everyday thousand of people die by gunfire,” writes one fan, while another pointed out that the stunt probably isn’t helping Liam’s recent injury.
This isn’t the first time fans and critics have taken to Twitter to blast 1D.
Earlier this year, Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were heavily criticised when a video of Zayn smoking what Louis referred to as “a joint” was published online.
Liam was also embroiled in the recent celebrity nude photo scandal when pictures, which were later identified as fake, purporting to show the singer naked were shared online.
