When Alan Crowley began creating a time-lapse video he had no idea just how dramatically his features would change in a few short months.
Alan began taking pictures of his face every day for a video project while he was a student. But after several weeks of filming he was attacked in a bar.

According to the Metro, the 26-year-old was assaulted in a Dublin bar in 2011, when chef Thomas O’Connell (who was later jailed) smashed a pint glass in Alan's face.
As a result, the incredible video shows Alan's face before and after the attack, and tracks his progress after reconstructive surgery.
