Paris Fashion Week: Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer 2015

The Louis Vuitton Foundation will open its doors in the Bois de Boulogne park on the edge of Paris next month - but the fashion pack and celebrity guests (including Miranda Kerr and Michelle Williams) got a sneak preview on Tuesday morning as they watched Nicolas Ghesquière present his second collection for the brand.

Ghesquière looked to Vuitton's heritage for his Spring/Summer 2015 collection.

Floral prints seen on ruffled mini dresses and buttoned-up shirts were dominant and although the long-sleeved knitwear, ankle-grazing jeans and knee-high boots didn't exactly scream 'summer,' the colour palette was brilliantly bright with a palette of rich, jewel tones.

The vintage theme became even more apparent in the range of accessories. Oversized, disc-shaped earrings had a 1970s feel (especially when paired with the doll-eye make up) and if there's one thing that's sure to go down a storm next season, it's the bags.

Ghesquière showcased miniature versions of the brand's boxy suitcases alongside roomy, leather totes. Fans of Vuitton's famous monogrammed luggage won't go disappointed.
