'Strictly Come Dancing': Jake Wood And Frankie Bridge To Follow Last Week's Success With Cheesy Classics

'Strictly' To Serve Up A Big Slab Of Cheese This Weekend

Last weekend’s two-part ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ launch saw the celebs making their dance floor debut, and it’s now been revealed what they’ll be performing in the second week of the series.

After ‘EastEnders’ actor Jake Wood stole the show with his impressive - and, frankly, unexpectedly alluring - tango to Britney Spears’ hit ‘Toxic’, he’ll be trying to maintain his position at the top of the leaderboard with his salsa routine.

Unfortunately for him, that might be a bit difficult given that he’ll be shimmying away and bumping his hips to the Lou Bega 90s classic ‘Mambo No 5’. Let’s hope he can make the most of it, despite the cringe-tastic song choice.

At least it wasn't the Macarena, eh, Jake?

Jake isn’t the only star who’s been served a big slab of cheese to have a dance to, with Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills doing a tango to ‘Stop’ by the Spice Girls, and current favourite to win Frankie Bridge dancing a charleston to the theme song from ‘Happy Days’.

Meanwhile, former ‘TOWIE’ cast member Mark Wright - who failed to impress the judges with his debut dance last week - has been given a slightly more contemporary number, and will be performing the American Smooth to Jason Mraz’s ‘I’m Yours’.

Mark came in at the bottom of the leaderboard last week

Unlike last weekend, this week we’ll finally see one of the celebrities sent packing, with tennis coach Judy Murray having already been named the early favourite to leave first - but will her cha cha to Tom Jones’s ‘She’s A Lady’ be able to keep her in the competition?
