Spanx Launches Jeans - But Are They Any Good?

Spanx Launches Jeans - But Are They Any Good?

Spanx - aka the brand all about the big pants - has launched its debut jeans line.

There are two different fits with inbuilt triple thread fabric technology in classic colours (black, dark dipped denim, rich indigo and blue wash) that promise to "tame tummies, slim thighs and boost bottoms".

So are these the ultimate skinny jeans? Team MyDaily tried them on for size to give you the need-to-know details.

MyDaily's style writer Daisy tried and tested the Slim X Straight-Leg Skinny in rich indigo...

"I had definitely made assumptions about Spanx jeans being too much like jeggings. You know, the kind of stretchy denims that you're forever pulling up? The ones that go all baggy and creased before you've had your morning coffee fix? Those.

"However, after wearing mine for a day in the office I was impressed with how well they lasted (no gaping) and just how comfy they were. I prefer dark denim over light so this shade was spot on and when teamed with a white shirt and chunky sandal they looked pretty good.

"Did I feel the slimming Spanx force? Affirmative, they do the trick."

MyDaily's acting editor Katie tried and tested the Slim X Super Skinny jeans in black...

"For me, the best thing about these jeans is they're comfortable. The fabric is a mix of cotton and polyester but thanks to the addition of Spandex, they come with just the right amount of stretch to flatter your legs and bum.

"The only downside for me is the price - but if you take the time to find the right size and style for you (there are four designs to choose from) these could come close to being your perfect pair."
