Would You Wear Spanx Skinny Jeans?

Spanx, the brand behind the super tight slimming apparel, has launched a new line of skinny jeans. The website now has a line up of denim shapewear in a range of colourways and styles all about the thigh trimming.

And we're not talking jeggings here (no one wants a baggy arse situation), this new collection is all about that "patent-pending technology" which promises jeans that "tame your tummy, trim your thighs and lift your rear," says the website.

Squeezing, lunging and squatting into your skinny jeans is a thing of the past thanks to an extra stretch yarn, which makes for ultimate comfort and a body-contouring fit.

They launch in the UK this October and a pair of these super-skinny-making Spanx jeans will set you back around £87 - not exactly a bargain but not too much to ask if you want sucking and tucking in all the right places.

This latest launch only goes to show why Spanx founder Sara Blakely was named Forbes magazine's youngest self-made female billionaire at age 41 in 2012. She's answered every woman's prayers by designing stretchy, slimming wares that make us feel invincible.

The brand now boasts over 200 products so the big question is, if the skinnies go down a storm (we're thinking that's a given) what's next? Catsuits, playsuits? More fabric play? Could Spanx leather be a thing?
