Take three rather inebriated Northumbria graduates, give them a selfie stick and then throw a lamppost into the mix and let the slapstick humour ensue.
The incident happened on the Diamond Strip after a booze-fuelled golf session.
The unfortunate recipient of the lamppost, Kieran, 22, told The Tab: "I was so steaming at the time I didn’t feel a thing.
"I don’t really get embarrassed so that was OK.
"We played a game of pub golf and sank every hole in one. Out of ten, my hangover this morning was 47."
