The iPhone 6 Is So Popular Apple Is Having To Delay The iPad Pro

Apple Is Delaying Its New iPad To Keep Up With The iPhone 6

Apple is reportedly having to delay production of the much-rumoured iPad Pro in order to keep up with demand for the iPhone 6.

The Wall Street Journal reports that Apple's new smartphone is proving so successful that the company simply wouldn't be able to keep up with demand if it started focusing on a new product category.

With over 10 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus smartphones sold in the first weekend this has been Apple's largest product launch ever and with demand showing no signs of slowing the company has reportedly had to adapt.

The iPad Pro is still very much a rumour however analysts seem confident that Apple is working on a large 12.9-inch tablet device that'll come running iOS 8.

With the company keeping focused on the iPhone 6 Apple will reportedly delay the launch until some time next year, possibly even late next year to keep it in time with the company's release schedule.

Apple is set to unveil its new iPad Air 2 and quite possibly a new range of iPods at an event taking place later this month.
