Take That have announced details of their forthcoming album, which will mark their first release since Jason Orange quit the group last month.
The new album - their first since 2010’s ‘Progress’ - will be titled ‘III’, a reference to the fact this will mark their first collection as a three-piece, and will be available from 1 December.

‘These Days’, the album’s lead single, made its radio debut across the UK on Friday morning, and sees remaining members Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald trading vocals for the first time without Jason, as well as without Robbie Williams, who also confirmed he wouldn’t be returning to the band earlier this year.
The new track has a clear disco influence, while the optimistic lyrics deal with looking ahead and living for the moment. It was produced by Greg Kurstin, best known for his work with Lily Allen, Pink and Kelly Clarkson.
Meanwhile, this will also be the band’s first release since its members - excluding now-departed Jason - were caught up in a tax avoidance scandal earlier this year, which they have addressed in a new interview.

Gary has said he doesn’t believe Take That’s die-hard fans are interested in their finances, telling The Sun: “Our fans, they want to buy our records and watch our tours. They’re not interested.
“We can’t talk about it. And to be honest, I don’t want to talk about it. It’s actually a private thing.”
Mark similarly added that he was keen to put the scandal behind them, adding: “Hopefully by this time next year, the tax thing will be sorted out, we’ll be doing live shows and it will be a positive time for us.”
