Who Landed The First 10 Of 'Strictly' 2014?

Frankie Bridge beat Jake Wood to become the first of this year’s ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ contestants to receive a 10 from one of the judges.

However, not everybody did so well, and Judy Murray and Mark Wright’s performances left Len Goodman and the judges - including guest judge Donny Osmond - looking less than impressed.

Frankie and her partner Kevin Clifton nabbed a 10 from Donny and - with high scores from the other judges - she shot straight to the top of the leaderboard.

‘EastEnders’ star Jake Wood continued his run of high scores, with his waltz, set to ‘The Godfather’ movie theme tune, however he was left in joint fourth on the leaderboard, trailing behind Frankie, Pixie Lott and Caroline Flack.

While Judy Murray’s wooden performance was certainly a lowlight of the evening, she wasn’t the only celeb who failed to impress.

Scott Mills, dressed as a crab

Scott Mills’ decision to perform his samba, set to ‘Under The Sea’ from ‘The Little Mermaid’, dressed as a crab didn’t go down too well, with Craig Revel-Horwood labelling it “one of the worst things I’ve ever seen”.

Once again, Mark Wright didn’t fair too well and Len Goodman declared that Tim Wonnacott’s Charleston was a “comedy performance”.

Alison Hammond and Steve Backshall managed to land themselves in the middle of the board, with both of them showing promise while still being reasonably far behind the leaders of the pack.

Judy failed to impress for a third time

Tonight’s show will see a second celebrity eliminated, following the departure of Gregg Wallace last week.

While some of the performances were pretty terrible, they weren’t quite as bad as this bunch...
