When Cara Delevingne announced she was casting models from Instagram for her special-edition DKNY collection back in June, she sent her 7+ million followers into total frenzy.
The collection will be in stores later this month but the Cara D x DKNY ad campaign has already landed. Cara's recruits include three girls and three guys all edgy enough to fit the fashion bill.
The shoot was photographed by Christian MacDonald and sees Cara and the gang modelling some of her signature urban-sporty-street gear (beanies, bombers, blazers, tank tops and jumpsuits).
Delevingne fans turned high fashion models - now that's why you get on the Instagram bandwagon.

Here's the photo the 22-year-old model gal posted on Instagram earlier this summer rallying up her Delevingners to get involved with the following message:
"Guys! So, I created a sick special-edition collection with @donnakarandkny coming later this year, and I WANT YOU to be in the campaign with me! I'm CASTING for a few lucky fans to come to New York City and model my new #DKNY collection in a special photo shoot with me."
