A curious toddler ended up stuck INSIDE a toy-grab machine after he went exploring while his grandmother was distracted.

Colin Lambert, 18 months, crawled over to the toy machine and then climbed inside at a coin laundry shop in Maryville, Tennessee.

When his gran went looking for him, all she could see was his feet sticking out of the top of the machine before he disappeared beneath a pile of cuddly toys.

While Colin probably thought he'd gone to Kid Heaven, grandmother Diane O'Neill was understandably distressed and called the emergency services.

She said she'd only looked away for a moment to check a text message when Colin went crawl-about.

She added: "All I could see was his feet. He had already crawled in. I grabbed his feet and he kicked my hand and got in. Climbed up over the glass partition and sat down in the toys."
