Rita Ora Cries 'Twitter Hack' After Retweet Stunt Flops

Rita Ora has cried 'hack' after a tweet was sent from her account claiming that if enough people retweeted, she'd release a new song on Monday.

The tweet was sent on 31 October and read: "Dropping my new song Monday if this get 100,000 retweets (sic)."

According to BBC Newsbeat the tweet was then quickly deleted after getting around 2000 retweets (or 0.05% of her 3.4-million followers).

The Standard called the incident an 'embarrassment' for Ora claiming that the tweet was deleted simply because it failed to get enough retweets.

Instead Ora tells a different story as she soon tweeted afterwards that her account had been hacked saying:
