Pip could soon become known for being a TV personality in her own right, rather than just being the sister of Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge. Oh, and the girl who upstaged said sister with her fabulous bottom at the royal wedding.

Sources told Page Six that NBC News has been in talks with Pippa after her interview with Today's Matt Lauer back in June proved a huge ratings hit.

She has reportedly been shooting an "out west" test feature in Utah after being spotted meeting with NBC executives in New York.

A source told the site: "The deal with NBC isn't done yet, but everybody is hopeful it will be done very soon. They want to make sure Pippa is comfortable in this role. The ratings for Pippa's interview with Matt Lauer showed she is very popular with Today viewers, and she really impressed everyone at NBC."

But before you get too excited, she won't be dishing any dirt on the royal family.

As she has a background in writing columns about lifestyle, health and fitness, her role as a correspondent will reportedly focus on these subjects, reports the Daily Mail.

Pippa was a columnist for the Daily Telegraph for six months until May this year, and has now supplying health and fitness tips for the Waitrose Weekend magazine.
