A UFC fighter's ear practically exploded after a savage punch from her rival nearly tore it right off.
Jessica 'Evil' Eye made contact with the head of Leslie Smith with a right hook which sent blood flying across ring during the second round.
Despite the American's ear hanging off she insisted she could carry on with the fight but medical professionals called a halt to the fight.
Eye told Fox Sports after the bantamweight fight in Mexico: "When I connected and saw her ear blow up, that became my main target.
"I was going to keep hitting it until they stopped the fight or it fell off. My goal is to be the first girl in the UFC to get a knockout win. I know I’ll do it.
"Now I’ve climbed another rung on the ladder, and I’ll look around and see what my options are but Im almost to the top."
Smith seemed in good spirits afterwards considering...
