Kate Hudson and her mum Goldie Hawn could have almost passed for sisters as they posed for pics together on the red carpet at Goldie's inaugural Love In For Kids event in Beverly Hills.
Not only was it Goldie's first charity event for the Hawn Foundation's MindUp program, which helps children behave better so they can learn more, it was also her 69th birthday. Yes, really.
While Goldie opted for a flamboyant metallic silver flare ensemble, Kate was the image of simple sophistication in her clean white sheath dress.
The dress featured a high neck and plunging sides, flashing a bit of flesh for an added hint of sexiness.
Kate's accessories included a multi-ring and a silver embellished tubular clutch, as well as a cool earring cuff. Her makeup was stunning with bronzed cheeks and super-smoky eyes.
Before heading to the event, Kate took to Twitter to post a beautiful throwback picture of her mum and wish her happy birthday. She wrote: "A big Happy Birthday to the most beautiful and inspiring woman I know! 🎂❤️ #goldie #lovemymom."
