Worried loved ones of a missing and vulnerable grandmother have made an emotional plea for help to find her.
Philomena Jones, 76, who is known as Nancy and suffers from dementia, has not been seen since around 2pm on Friday amid growing concerns for her safety.
Her family and members of the public have launched search parties in the area near her home in Ashton-on-Mersey, Trafford, while officers from Greater Manchester Police (GMP) are also hunting the missing pensioner.

Mrs Jones, a former waitress and shop assistant, was dropped of at her sheltered flat in Ashton-on-Mersey at around 1.30pm on Friday by her granddaughter who arranged to come back at 4pm.
But Jones, a widow, was then spotted on CCTV outside a local Tesco express around 2.10pm on Friday and has not been seen since.
Grandson Mark Watterson, 29, a quantity surveyor from Sale, said: "We are just trying to stay positive. Obviously we are worried.
"She's a really happy, friendly person, always smiling, loves a laugh and a joke.
"She's always happy to talk to anyone, she just loves company.
"The support has been overwhelming really, there's pictures and stories all over Twitter and Facebook.
"If you have any sort of information, please, please, please contact the police."
Mrs Jones recently moved house in the area which may have confused her, her grandson said.
Police are concentrating their searches in the Sale and Trafford area but say she may have travelled farther afield, possibly into Manchester city centre or to Liverpool.
Det Con Jon Lloyd of GMP said: "We are extremely worried. We have a 76-year-old lady who suffers from dementia, a family who are very, very worried about her, she's not been missing before and it's now been over 24 hours since she was last seen and we are desperately trying to find anyone who has seen her or know where she is so we can return her to her family."
Nancy is described as being white, 5ft 3in tall, of slim build and has black hair. It is believed she was wearing a red coat, black and red hat, dark trousers and carried a canvas shopping bag.
