Tattooist Puts Temporary Tattoos On A Woman With Down Syndrome Every Week

Tattooist Has Adorable Way Of Making Woman With Down Syndrome's Day

Tattoo artist Jason Ward is getting a lot of love on the internet right now because every week he obliges a woman with Down Syndrome's request to have a tattoo.

Jason treats Suzie Barry the same as any other client - except he doesn't charge for the service and they're temporary.

Reddit user pixeldustnz posted the picture with the caption "Every Friday this lady comes in with stick on tattoos to see her tattooist. She says he makes her feel 'equal' when he puts them on - gloves, spray and all."

"In our industry you wear gloves so I put gloves on, it's a matter of hygiene, and then I put the stick on tattoos on her. She didn't say thank you or anything, she just got up and left, and that was that. And then she came back the following Friday. And it's just carried on from there," Jason told the New Zealand Herald.

Suzie has been going to Hamilton's Muscle and Ink tattoo studio every Friday for around four months.

The virality of this post has led to a huge number of people asking to send stick-on tattoos to the shop for Suzie, but Ward encourages them to look around and make a difference in their own town.
